The problem with humans is that everything is never enough. This is why the suburbs exist in the first place and why there are so many shopping malls in the US where there used to be wildlife.

I don't think that's necessarily a problem, it is just misdirected. Imagine if that never-ending lust manifested as a passion for scientific knowledge and understanding of the Universe around us.

I think it's an interesting idea, but like all interesting ideas, it's polluted with enthusiasts who are not clear thinkers and detractors who are too moralistic.

I don't think it's unobtainable though. Education is really key here. As long as our education system remains shitty, particularly in the USofFuckin'A, we won't reach that point.

So really all it would take is a complete revamping of our education systems on a global scale.
