Tremelo arms??? Liz? Sara?

It seems that pushing or pulling on the bridge will move the bridge position same as a whammy. But some guys like Adrian Smith leave the bar tight within easy reach of his fingers. I like them hanging loose out of the way, as it seems most other players that I have seen do too.

Trems aren't that bad, once you understand how to calibrate it, setting the neck, bridge, tremsetter and sattle height; it's all part of tuning your guitar IMO.

True Robo. I had to totally reset my white G&L S-500 because the trem was set wrong by the guy I bought it from. Tweak the claw, tune the strings, tweak the claw, tune the strings..........once the trem was level then intonation, a big PITA. I don't want to go through that much of a setup again.

I love having a trem though. :)

Like I said if you change strings make or model, you may have to go through all that. I'll set it, then stick with the same make and model of string.

Sara was explaining just that to the Rotosound guy at NAMM who was trying to talk her into using roto's.

Tried a bass with a Kahler many years ago. I didn't think it would find much use.
