Tried reamping properly for the first time last nite, could use some pointers

Hey guys

I tried reamping last nite for the first time, and im not too sure about the results i got. It was my dual rec into the OS cab, single 57, edge of cap, on axis. bout an inch from the grill.

Heres some clips of what i got vs what i got using an impulse:





and the impulse ones (these were done with my Krank rev jr)






Is it just my mic'ing technique? or is the reamping ok and just my mixes are so out of whack? Drums, Bass and Vocals sound good on their own, but as soon as im bringing the guitars in it all turns to shit, so im assuming its the tone.

The reamps actually dont sound that bad. I think you need a chunkier snare and to crank the bass up and add a good bit of grit to it. that should even it out a little bit as far as guitars go
