If I buy Trigger EX can I use the samples from SSD Platinum which I already own?

You can if you want to bounce them all to .wav, and then make trigger files from them.

You can load a single layer of WAV in Trigger. Trigger will do some dynamic adjustments depending on input level, so it could work for you.

If you have the WAVs, then yes. you can make instruments out of them.

I thought I could import SSD sounds to replace in Trigger too when I bought the Platinum. I think it's a little weird from Slate to not allow to use these in Trigger... Its always possible to make TCI's from SSD but it's quite long and boring.

Thanks for the help guys. Im disappointed Id have to implement such a workaround to use my SSD Platinum samples in Trigger as the time it would take to do I might as well use Platinum and the Kontakt player!

I will buy Trigger though as Ive got 3 sessions on the go that need drum replacement which is roughly 20 odd songs and time is the biggest obstacle I face but thats life I guess !
