Havent heard them yet but I know they are probably more of that one finger chord bullshit with a singer that goes between a scraming and singing voice. On Roadnunner Records probably. And then maybe they throw in the Swedish At The Gates style riffing for good measure then go back to the Machine Head copy riff. Cant wait for their new one.

You're right, it's all the same, not very much innovations these days. But this style is so good and compelling if done well that it's still enjoyable even after all these albums with the same stylistic blueprint.

sry to say it but the worst comparison between bands is soulfly and ektmorf, ekt sux alot simply for their singer to try being max and their music is damm weak!

Ehm, just for the record...

I can't stop listening to Trivium's 'Ascendancy', I have to give it a spin every three or so days!!!

Sadly, Shadows fall's ' 'the war within' didn't give me that same buzz...
I strongly prefer 'The art of balance', for that matter...

I spun 'The War Within' for about three or four months, solid. Then got bored and haven't listened to it since. I'm not as freakishly obsessed with 'Ascendancy', but it is a regular feature on my MP3 player, after the new Darkane album.
