trivium: Shall I or not?

I got this test thingy from my guitar teacher
and i thought to myself if i should play the crusade.
but.
I dont like the *New* Trivium Songs
The old albums where better
and I dunno if I'm just gunna waste my time

btw., I think the new album is better, because it's not theat metalcore-ish, it's more metal.

I myself think Trivium's live performances are lacking, not in stage presence, but in playing abilities. I have seen a couple recent live vids, and their playing is horrible. Then I saw a couple vids from a few years ago, and they played their solos flawlessly,

I think The Crusade is a great song. Definetly go for it. Though can you even play it? some of the bits are pretty hard like the sweeping and the tapping.

Btw... your sig.... the used... arg I HATE them! How one can one like CoB and The Used at the same time boggles my mind. Sorry had to say it!

If you don't like it, don't learn it. I wouldn't learn a song I didn't like unless it was for a college performance or something, which is soemthing I had to do quite a bit actually. I don't know if your test is manditory but if it's not, don't waste your time.
