it's a mesa recto recording-pre in direct-mode.....(direct to desk, no pweramp, cab, mic, whatever involved)
gain is on 2:00 plus tubescreamer (modern channel), so it should be way more powerful 4-tracked

How does it sound without the 808? Maybe without a poweramp or cab or mic to deal with, that extra bit of focus/tightening isn't necessary.

without an 808 it's almost impossible to play it...feeld like your strings are rubberbands and you're playing intp a plumpudding or so...really strange....
