TS9+XXX+Harley... again

audiophile777: there is bass there yes :) but it's only really noticable in the clean break and when you mute it. what I mainly find hard is to get the OHs and Snare to sound decent.

jesus69lol. I maxed all the EQ knobs, then took the mids & bass down a bit. Also have a TS9 infront of it (drive 9, tone 11, level 12) and the channel volume is at max. 2 guitars on the crunch channel and 2 on the ultra, same setting on both. Did have to match the gain though, so they aren't the same.

Took this pic of the crunch/ultra channels:

EDIT:
Better snare now?

I also tried to use a sidechained comp on the OHs. Feels wierd though.

this answers all your questions....read the thread...look where his GAIN is set

Man just stop with the gain thing. I had the gain VERY slightly higher than that with the bad monkey boosting, It sounded almost identicle to the gain set to about 11 oclock without the boost... maybe its just the bad monkey isnt all that awesome with the XXX.

And I was asking settings for the new tunes.

Amp settings, Volume settings, Boost and settings, Tube types.

...And if he feels up to it he could even tell the pickup and cab
he used on those 2 clips.... Im just trying to understand
the tone coming from the clips...

So thanks in advance:rock:

WTF....A Flame battle in every thread he come in.....
Some dudes wont drop it.

ANd to the other guy...
Its ignornant to say a tube doesnt change the tone.

So you are implying that a 6l6 isnt different than an el34??

That one certain tube, Might not have harsher, more brittle sounding
areas where as another tube wouldnt??????????

Then why is there so many different types of tubes?
So they can all sound the exact same?

Just shut up...

You sound fucking stupid assuming that one tube sounds exactly the same as another.... You are basically calling out that a shuguang el34 sounds the same as a would be JJ 6l6 tube.

Does anybody else agree that all tubes sound the same?
I dont.
