Vintersorg are pretty unknown in Sweden, that´s sad. I was hoping that he would be a little more known after the PopStad broadcast, but it seems like he wasn´t.

The shrine sucks , you have to be 18 to get in there. I think it´s SlaveStateMagazines foult that vintersorg are unknown in sweden. They always write shit about him.

Did you read the last Slavestate Magazine with the tour report from Wacken? In the few words about Borknagar, they said (and I quote):

"...the bands line-up with Vintersorg at the microphone and Tyr on bass is not either anything to have. Vintersorg is an overrated vocalist and Tyr looks like a bass-player from any eighties-band of choice we'd rather forget with his bass hanging like some kind of bra..."

Perhaps I should have posted this on the Borknagar-forum instead...?

Yeah that number really sucked. I never buy that magazine again.

To not like a certain band is one thing but to write utter crap just to fill a few lines is another. I've read a couple of reviews about WOA and most of them were quite positive. Some complained about a bad sound but that's a result of the place where you were by the time the band played. It was ok in front
The guy from that magazine you quoted seems to be very inventive though. The comparison of Tyr wearing a bra instead of a bass is so hilarious I almost had to laugh.
And no matter how many bad reviews are out there: I'd like to see a tour

Yeah, that live-report also said something about the guitar sound if I'm not misstaken.
Anyway, sure I'd like to see both Borknagar and Vintersorg on tour definitly...

Hmm... the name of the writer is Larsa Carlsson and I think he´s the chiefeditor of SlaveState Magazine. It is no. 4 (October 2002) this article is in...(but only in Swedish)
But they seem to pick at many good bands in the magazine. Probably the last time I bought it...
