My brother got me a Slipknot CD for Christmas...Anyone else think Slipknot is a bunch of posers?

Well, Slipknot isn't like totally ghey... I mean, they have some good tracks, it's just their music is sorta has that attitude that is oriented towards a younger audience, and they're pretty mainstream. But I have no real beef with them. Most kids from my generation used them as a stepping stone into metal, I don't care who you are.

You missed out, I still listen to Slipknot VERY OCASSIONALLY, they have good songs, I don't care wtf anyone says... and when you're in a bad mood they're nice to hear... I got in Marilyn Manson VERY briefly but it never stuck, so I didn't mention him but I guess he was another band that was a stepping stone.

Oh I know he was trying to be nice. I just talked to him actually and I told him that I don't like slipknot but I think it's nice that he got it for me. it's some kind of collection of their best songs, so yeah I might find a good one if I listen to it.

Np... It's not a bad CD, I mean, if you're into metal you might not find it all that hard but it's a decent CD..., give it a listen you might like a few songs... for younger people it's more enjoyable though.
