UK Trip

I will apparently be traveling to the UK around May 5 for business. I will be there approximately 4 or 5 days with most of the time to myself. Aside from the obvious attractions, are there are suggested record stores and the like I should check out? I will have shit for $ so the cheaper the better. Free is always good. I will be staying at the Mayfair Holiday Inn and would prefer within walking distance. Any recommendations?
