Do they have any heavy parts on this album?

And if so, do they have any other albums without heavy parts?

I downloaded a few songs from Bergatt(sp?) and they had black metal thrown in the middle of acoustic parts.

All I want is the soft parts...so is this the album I'd want?

Kveldsjanger is completely acoustic...nothing remotely electric on it :) acoustic guitars and some violins/cellos ...and singing of course

Perfect ;)

Do they have any other albums like this?

Just for the record, the album is called 'Kveldssanger' not 'Kveldsjanger'....
Kveldssanger= evening songs

Read reviews of all the Ulver albums at www.chedsey.com

It doesn't say Kveldsjanger, it says Kveldssanger. If you notice more carefully on the back of the cd they use a different character for j. I know because I was also confused.
And no, they don't have any other albums like that....

alright thanks. It really does look like an J. And why is Smekermann repeating what everyone else just cleared up and then saying everyone is dumb?

Also..the last album I got from Ulver was Themes. Didnt really care for it. How are the albums that come after that? Are they like techno or is it worth checking out?

Perdition City, the album that Ulver released after Themes, is a brilliant work of electronica and one of the best releases of 2001. The close-minded types will probably not be able to appreciate it, but those with a fondness for good music, no matter what the genre, will enjoy it.

BTW, the singing on Kveldssanger is really horrible in parts, but it's a very good album overall.

Sjanger is actually a Norwegian word, meaning genre.
But it would make absolutely no sense in this connection.
The album title is Kveldssanger.

Ok thank you guys, I trust you :)
I thought I would never know if it was "Kveldssanger", "kveldsjanger" or "Kveldsfanger"

Anyway, a great album... and Bergtatt as well !

What parts are you talking about? I haven't heard it all, so I'd like to know before I buy it.
