As the title says, I've made a Guitar Pro tab of Opeth's 'Under The Weeping Moon'. Not sure if you guys (GP users) noticed it yet.

Donwload it here: -

(That's a list of all tabs I made, btw)

Well, hope you like it, and tell me what you think.

Just some advice: You don't need to put in a new guitar track for every new guitar tone. You can simply right click a bar in the program, go to the mixing table and choose a different tone, volume, song speed etc. etc. It makes the tab less tedious to keep up with.

Anyhow, good job.

PS. Not sure whether its you or me, but we certainly play the first solo in that song differently. The version in that tab certainly doesn't sound right to me.. but then again I havent heard the song in a long time.

I like it better with all the extra instruments personally for some reason. Probably because that's the way it's recorded and stuff. And also because I'm a bit of a freak :D

I like it this way also, maily because most of the time it's needed with all the layering Opeth does. Anyway, Moonlapse, your partly right... I could have done it with the overdubs... Oh well. ;P

Oh, and if you had less instruments, you wouldn't be able to do the pretty colour fade thing :zombie:

3/4 = 3 crotchet notes per bar
6/8 = 2 dotted crotchet notes a bar

Different time signatures for different needs [/David Brent]

Hehe, I have very little theoretical knowlegde about how to write music down and stuff, but I just fuck around, and try what sounds and seems good.

But what Moonlapse said, I just try to put an entire riff in a bar, makes stuff easier. :D
