Upcoming Releases in 07

Anyone heard the British doom band Sloth?

I hear they're working on their 2nd album that was supposed to come out on Rise Above in 2004! The songs on their myspace from their debut sound HUGE!

New Sculptured, Nokturnal Mortum, Therion, Vital Remains, Red Harvest and Evoken, November's Doom, Jesu, Winds, Green Carnation, Adagio, Minethorn, Judas Priest haven't been mentioned
...

CODE

Maybe nobody mentioned Metallica because there is no more Metallica. It's been almost 20 years since this band's demise and if the new song is any indication, the new release will be a bigger pile of crap than St. Anger, impossible as it seems.

As much as I'd like a new album, I can find no indication that one is being planned for release next year.

The album was supposed to come out at the end of 05 then got delayed to this year, it keeps getting delayed more and more. They want to use Hellhammer again on drums but his schedule keeps delaying the recording process. They might just get another drummer on the new album because its long overdue. I can bet money on it that is will come out in 07, Hellhammer said their waiting on him but no guarantees hell even be on it.

St. Anger was a great album, it was not a pile of crap. The only album I liked from new Metallica. If what everybody I hear keeps on saying that it was a worser album than St. Anger I'm going to be disapointed :(

Im hopeful the new Metallica will be good here is some reasons why..

1. No more Bob Rock fucking their minds up or therapist brainwashing them
2. The drum sound will be fixed according to Lars.
3. The return of Kirk Hammets guitar solo wizardry
4. Rob Trujillos first album with them.
5.Rick Rubin is producer Hmmmm
6.Hetfeilds off the dope more time for energy and less lazy guitar structres
7.Influenced by newer melodic bands like Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold and Mastadon may influence the record for the better or worse. I read an interview with Kirk saying he is interested in Neoclassical style once more, and won't be an all bluesy album like Load.

Also, no one mentioned it: New Immolation

Hell fucking yes. Their first EP AND a new studio album planned for early next year.

It does sound promising, however the two new tracks they have played live recently have been pretty bad.
