you don't get it.... its because its JUST ABOUT THE MUSIC. Yeah production does matter if you're trying to sell records... but I just want to appreciate 'the actual song'. Not the production. Thats why it doesn't matter to me. I see your point, and it is valid, but thats just a triviality to get beyond as far as I can see it to get to the source of the pleasure.

But you must agree that the song is totaly out of place in those albums. The extra tracks on Morningrise and Orchid is rather for MP3 to dowload from the internett for those with special interest. It compleatly ruins the the whole impression of the whole CD.

And for those that asked way up on this thread; the extra song on Orchid is a rehearsal of the young Opeth.
