Can any of you please post the GM mapping for use in Battery? I can't believe this wasn't included on the original CD.

Battery reads the maps for the LM-4 which should be included on the CD.
Don't know if it's GM compatible then.

There is a map for battery on the actual CD, but it isn't synched with GM. So when GM says play the snare, it does some crazy shit like play the splash...

my access to a machine with battery and dfh is very limited at the moment to
compare the battery maps that I used to a normal GM map.

but I found this on the net regarding DFH and the GM map:

sound variations to fit the GM map, but the mapping regime is

So I guess Toontrack provides a standard GM map or you have to make
your own. And I'm pretty sure now that my map isn't GM compatible either.

Yeah the mapping regime is consistent accross all the preset kits they start you with. I wouldn't have the first clue on how to create the map myself though, as I'm pretty new to all this stuff.

I made my own mappings by hand. The Best way is to load the kit and everything... go into the drum editor in cubase and then add hits to each track until you figure out what each one is for then change the name of that track to thr relevant instrument. Then match them up.

Awesome, I've done it. Now it's a matter of finding out how to add random slight pitch modulation to each hit in Battery.
