Using drum samples in Logic, how to program?

Hey guys,

I've used EZ Drummer in the past and it's cake to use obviously, just a simple plugin. I won't be recording drums right now, but want to program instead. How would I use raw samples like these in Logic? What kind of host do I need? Also, I want to be able to integrate my M-Audio trigger finger to make the programming part easier. Any advice for this newb would be appreciated. thanks
