Most Norwegians might officially be members of the Christian church. That does however not mean most Norwegians are Christians or religious at all. In Sweden for example, you used to be born a member of the church, but could leave it at any time you wished. That means we have loads of people who are officially Christians but have never actually went to church. Since it doesn't really affect them in any significant way, few decide to actually leave the church.

Why does it matter what the general Norwegian public believes? Varg does not represent them all, and the fact of the matter is, church burning accomplishes nothing for a cause unless it is en masse, which in this case was not. Varg should not reflect the beliefs of the entire Norwegian populace, as they are just as diverse in their beliefs as any other country.

I find vargs viewpoints to be very interesting. There is no way varg is a retard as so many of you people repeat. He is probably smarter then 90% of the people here. Sure, he burned down churches, which was wrong because they are historical artifacts and should be preserved, but does being in contradiction to your beliefs make him stupid? Open your mind and lower your egos, and stop saying the same thing like sheep. The only reason so many people are in complete 100% agreement with each other is because they aren't thinking for themselves. I hardly ever agree completly with anyone.
