I absolutley love the snare on the album by Vital Remains, Icons of Evil. The sound, to me, is demonstrated well in the song Hammer Down the Nails.
I'm looking for a sample that sounds like that. Either that or any tips on eq and compression to get a snare that sounds like that. I have little to no experience with sampling, i just know the bare basics. Can anyone help me out?
