Man the first days of the new cd was great, but once travis got rid of the band and got the new they just sucked. oh well
i disagree. i thought the middle album was brilliant. but the most recent one went downhill because he just reverted back to the basic rock-song structure of the first album (i loved the first one, but in a different way). but i've always thought the middle album is a masterpiece -- very experimental. he's so freakin talented.

i actually don't have the second album, i have heard the song enemy on that album and that is it. It's an awesome song. I own the third and first albums by him. The first is great but i do also hate the third one. So i guess i should check the second one out.

as for the anti-matter: in my ears the definitley most overrated vocalist is Maynard James Keenan (perfect circle is great but his tool-stuff sucks a lot in my humble ears).

The girl from Flowing Tears ( i also forgot her name...damn im getting old i cant remember all names )

On special mention the guy from fear factory did nice work on demanofactured, George Fisher susprised me in the live canivalism cd amd Budda from Blood for Blood was one hateful son of a bitch when it comes to sing.

Mikeal is definetely the best vocalist. Both his grim vocals, and not to say his clean vocals are totally amazing...
As number two I'd have to say Simen "ICS Vortex" Hæstnes. He also does both clean and grim stuff, and both with such excellence one have to be impressed.
As number three I'd guess Shagrath would be my favourite. Mainly because I love Dimmu, and his efforts there are uncomplaintable.

So, thats:

1. Mikael Åkerfeldt
2. Simen "ICS Vortex" Hæstnes
3. Shagrath
