I am surprised that Volume 8 is so hard to find for so many people. Is everyone who says this in the US???

I am just curious because here in Australia we seem lucky as it's almost everywhere. Most shops seems to automatically stock Vol 8, Among, Killer Bs, and Moshers compilation, while the specialists only have the rest.

Stomp and SoWN have both been re-issued by Beyond Records, complete w/ remastered sound and bonus tracks. Even if your store doesn't stock them (even my tiny store keeps one of each) they should be able to get them any time. Vol. 8, well, since Ignition Records no longer exists, it is indeed out of print. One of these days all the legal BS and red tape will be done with and Vol. 8 will be re-issued complete w/ bonus tracks. I look for it to come out in 2004 or so whenever they get around to the live album. Vol. 8 is out there. I see copies of it floating around Ohio both used and un-used. Just keep looking.

Here in Phoenix, we have them at a store called ZIA Records, both new and used copies available.

my Vol.8 is a promo copy with the picture of their ugly mugs on the front. That cost me a fiver. And my new lovely SOWN was second hand. But I get an American import Stomp442 today! HELL YEAH!

well, teh copy i have i found at Circuit City a while after it went out of print. i was really surprised, actually. the only time i EVER found the album.

Yeah, one of my friends bought it at circuit city a few days after the Maximum Rock PPV in 2000......so that was sometime in September 2000 probably...and it was the last copy and that was before I knew much about the band and that was out of print. If I woulda known that then I woulda bought it from him LOL. But anyway I won that ebay auction for $9.60. Sorry to any other Anthrax fans posting on this board who were bidding as well, but I had to have it! :)
