vst settings dont saved in reaper what can i do?

so i installed newest reaper and there is reaeq vst which dont save hipass or lowpass settings so why my eq settings
dont saved when i save project? i also saved some fxchains and it still wont save settings? i have vista could that be the problem? i also wanted to know
stable freebie vst`s eq,comp,multicomp and gate i tried blockfish and floorfish but i wanna see my setting on numbers. anyway it piss me off when i have to start mixing from beginning becouse my settings wont save so if anyone know bunch of cool vst`s or tips to fix that, it would be very helpfull

I dont know why it wont save the settings in your saved FX chains (I dont have that probem). But the ReaEQ has the hi and lo pass settings, though its not set up as a preset.

Under the graphical, there's a list of tabs for each band. Within each tab is a drop down menu that you can set each band to be. For example I set my first band as a high pass and the last band for a lo pass.

You can then save that as a preset.

There was a bug posted in the Reaper Pre-Release forums about this - which Beta are you using? Try going back a version.
