Well another year has passed and again I will miss this huge Metal fest in Germany. Has anyone been to one and is it all that I have imagined it to be? It really seems like a bad ass experience and I can't wait for the day that I can go. Here is this years line up.

Yeah Iced Earth is one of my favorite bands too. I actually got to meet John Schaffer once. A friend and I went to Morrisound Studio where he records, and we knew that they were recording Glorius Burden at the time We knocked on the door thinking maybe if we could just look around and maybe, just maybe we'd get really lucky and a member from Iced Earth would be their! We knocked and guess who answers the door...freaking John Schaffer himself, we told him we were Iced Earth fans and he let us in and gave us a tour and we chatted a bit, it was crazy. My buddy and I were in the Military too and he's pretty pro America and the Military so he was pretty cool with us... It was a great experience.

I'm going to be taking german next year and the year after in school and by then i'll be old enough to drink and other things in germany so i'll probably go in a few years. the lineup is wicked almost every single year.
