Paul, I read somewhere on Metal Ireland that Scald will be remastering/reworking/or simply re-releasing the Nematoid demos. Is this true?
J, we had planned to re-record them as a proper album, but for various reasons thats not so viable now, we wasted months without a practice room and now we've started into it again the general consencous is that we should move on to new material
which has been sitting waiting for the past fuck knows how long to be learnt.
however this is going to take some time, (more than a year for sure to get the songs right, never mind production)
so somewhere between the proper release of headworm and the next full album there should be a couple of stop gap releases... one of which if we get backing should be the complete pre-headworm recordings including born with teeth, rancid fuckhole both nematoids all remastered and some other unheard stuff as a double cd, it'll need to be a big mad fuck off package with a hefty book so we'll need to get backing from somewhere, I think its worth doing to gather it all up and make it nice and special.
what do you think?
also just noticed that pete has posted in the review thread about the cds for sale at relapse...which is probably what I should have done, sorry
by the way, just got the latest review in from italy, another rave 9/10
