wow, this thread got me into researching female falsetto, my voice teacher (female btw) told me there was no such thing cause women don't have the same break in their voices, ok "falsetto" listen to Muse and you'll hear the classic example of falsetto, he really transitions from head to chest voice pretty much better than any pop singers out there right now but do women have falsetto?

Adam lopez, guiness recorld holder for highest note produced from a male vocalist, can reach C#8 in the whistle register. that's higher than the highest note on a piano, and higher than mariah carey, i think. In addition, he can hit A#1, which is the lowest black key on a piano. Wow.
