Wow I would think it would have had bigger world wide sales. Great album, I tried to keep sales going-I bought it a month after it was released and was sorry I waited that long. Got my juices flowing again.

I have to agree with that post about woman singing. I never looked at that way but if I was 14-18 and had just by chance heard Anthrax in a live setting or on the radio or whatever and went to the store only to find a Joey CD, I'd be seriously dissappointed because Bush sings with way more balls.

Many bands sell much better in Europe than USA. For a wild example take Manowar. These guys do not sell many albums in the U.S. but I think every album they put out goes Gold in Germany.

last year in germany when Anthrax supported Motörhead i talked to two 16 years old guys who liked "Among The Living". They told me that they didn't like new shit and the bands that most people of their age are listening to. that showed me that there are also young people between 14 and 18 who like oldschool-metal.
in march after the Anthrax-show in Cologne two good-looking girls (between 15 and 19) asked me if i had been at the Anthrax-gig because i was wearing my "Road To Euphoria"-shirt. one of the two girls told me that she hasn't got a ticket for the gig and wanted to know if they had played their old songs like "I Am The Law" and "Antisocial" and i told her that they had played many old songs. she became really sad and said that she wanted to kill herself because she likes the old Anthrax-songs so much. she started to cry and went away with her friend. i screamed "please don't kill yourself" and couldn't believe that a young girl was crying because she missed an Anthrax-gig.
i think europe, especially germany, is different. Anthrax are big in germany, WCFYA reached pos. 22 on the pop-charts and even young girls are listening to their old stuff.
it's phantastic that in 2003 pretty 16years old girls put in AMONG THE LIVING and start to bang their heads. that's why i consider AMONG as timeless.
Metal is big in germany, "Safe Home" gets radio play in the afternoon.

1st Trax show was in 88 , they played for 5000 people , and they had the most lovely girls comin to see them, last show 2003 only 300 and the girls ugly as hell, what the hell went wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
