Is this the Vintersorg Anonymous site? If so... "Hello, my name is Drexle, and I'm a Vinterholic from North Carolina in the USA." I've been under the influence of this man's music since last December when I first searched for his music after hearing mention of him in an article about In Flames. And then about for months ago, I discovered Otyg as well, and my addiction just grew and grew. I have to have my Vintersorg fix at least three times a day now, or I go absolutely nuts.

I've been wondering if there were ever going to be any message boards where I could talk to other Vintersorg fans... finally, I've found one!

Since I'm new to this forum, I thought I should introduce myself.
I'm 17 years old, live in a sad place called Surnadal in the middle of nowhere in Norway. I first heard Vintersorgs work about a year ago, and I've been an avid addict ever since. Vintersorg is most definately my favourite artist.

I'm also quite fond of Einherjer, Otyg, Emperor, Susperia and The Kovenant to name a few.

I dream and wonder alot, and write some poetry. I also make some pictures, you can see some samples of my doodling below.

Maybe some words about me ... I'm a 22 years old male from Germany. Since October 1998 I'm studying "Informatik" (computer sciences / mathematics) in Aachen / Germany. Some of my hobbies are writing letters, roleplaying, reading and spending some time with my friends ... furthermore I also sing and play in a small BlackMetal-band. Some of my favorite bands are Vintersorg, Otyg, Dornenreich, Devil Doll, Subway To Sally, Opeth, Pazuzu, Summoning, Ozzy Osbourne, Garmarna and (old) Genesis ...

Hi folks!

it is my first entry here in the Vintersorg-forum and the first I should do is to introduce myself:

i´m a 20 years old female being and i live in germany.
my passion is listening to music. most i listen to Black Metal & Death Metal like Marduk, Immortal, Behemoth, Borknagar, Vader, SFU and a lot of underground bands. But i love bands like Finntroll, Otyg and Vintersorg too cause they are so damn trollish and natural!
beside metal I just like classic for example Grieg and so on. but i hate techno and rap etc.

in my freetime i like to sing..but i´m too shy to sing in front of others...although i have a beautiful voice... thats so shitty cause i hate myself for that, but i cant change it (yet). i play the guitar too...but not the way i wish..so i have to practise a lot.

another hobby and my occupation is making websites. i love to create graphics and make websites in HTML, CSS, Java, Java Script and all the other stuff.

So thats all for the moment. I hope it will be cool here in the forum!

Hello Vintersorg fans, my real name is Corey. I'm 28, male, married, just had twin daughters (well my wife did). I became an instant Vintersorg fan after picking up Cosmic Genesis a couple months ago. I'm a Metal fan for a long time now, and I have to say Vintersorg is the most refreshing thing I've heard in a long time. Hopefully this forum will prosper!
