I decided to give Children Of Bodom one more chance, but guess what, the show was a disaster. They went out there and fucked everything up. The thing I remember most was the part going from the end of Deadnight Warrior back into Mask Of Sanity chorus was embarrassing, Janne started the lead by himself, Roope tried to join but they were off and Jaska just started playing the Chorus again by himself without a count off. it was nuts, totally unprofessional. Alexi fucked up every solo, Jaska was so off so many times (his drum fills were always way early and screwed the rest of the band up) Janne messed mad shit up (chords and all solos) and Henkka hit a bunch of wrong notes the whole show. they must have been really drunk. it's not fair to the fans that they play this way, including the guitar players out there who are trying to play like Alexi one day. The only good song was Children Of Bodom, that worked out nicely, I know they still have the ability to play awesome if they wanted to, the other cool thing though was that Alexi finally finished his solo to Downfall, hasn't done that in a long time. but man, out of an hour, there was like 45 seconds of awesome rockin. everything else was destroyed, In Your Face didn't even sound like the song at all, Jaska fucked up the intro to AYDY, it was horrible. You know how they play half of Mask Of Sanity because Alexi "Doesn't like the middle part so much", well that's a new opinion for him. I have a handwritten letter that he wrote back to me years ago and it says his favorite song is Mask Of Sanity. okay now don't worry, I'm not just bitching for my health, I actually will make a change this time. I will NEVER go to a Children Of Bodom show ever again. Maybe I'll buy the next album. I've seen them 11 times, I've been witness to the demise. The new live album sucks balls, the worst. screw this, I'm done with Bodom and all you ignorant noobs too.
