Mine was an '87 with a bad paint job though. Then I got an '86 with an even worse paint job. TERRIBLE on the freeway but awesome offroad, and I never had to worry about chicks only digging me because of my wheels.

Dude not even. Fuck Consumer Reports. Seriously. Anyone with even half a brain cell's worth of driving ability won't ever tip over a vehicle like that on the highway (offroad is a different story). Also them old Slamurais make even older Toyotas look unreliable by comparison, them things were built like god damn tanks.

I have a soft spot for them obviously.

re: driving ability - yeah, I agree, but most people are retards, so there you have it. Just look at the Explorer debacle of a few years ago. Humans have been driving trucks since what nineteen-oh-two? Then these suburban housewives start driving them, overloading them, not maintaining them, and driving them like they were sedans and they rolled? How strange!

Case in point, Suzuki continued to sell the Samurai for years in other parts of the world because nobody but Americans were dumb enough to tip them over. See some people say "oh NADz why do yous hates Americas so muchs" and I say "if 90% of the people didn't SUCK ASS THROUGH A STRAW I wouldn't."

Unrelated: Dopethrone by Electric Wizard will likely kick my dick in years from now as it currently is. I fucking love this album, and it gets better every time I hear it.
