If you ever need to get rid of those Star Wars toys, I'll take them off your hands.

For me, I have a Metallica Kill 'em All CD on Megaforce Records. I've never seen another. I have the Jump in the Fire vinal.

An Exciter collector's badge-- I'm never seen another one. A Black Sabbath patch in the form of a cross, about 25 years old. Show programs from Alice Cooper and the original Iron Maiden with the Paul Dianno line up. Guitar picks belonging to the late, great Dave Pritchard of Armoured Saint. Tons of ticket stubs. Concert photos I took myself.

I've been re-visiting my childhood and have some fond memories of all my favourite videos that I used to love (apart from the carebears of course), I used to love watching The Wolf And The Seven Little Kiddies movie however, I can't find it it's virtually impossible to find it. My favourite was the puppet Cookie (one of the goats) for those who not what I'm talking about if you're familiar with this.

The other video I remember (I don't remember the title) was a collection of various animated fairy tales ( also animated puppets) including, The Little Match Girl, Beauty And The Beast, and this story about a wishing well I think it was about these sisters one was poor (similar to Cinderella the storyline) her sisters and mum are very cruel to her and are spoilt. One day she discovers this well and gets everything she wants but disaster follows for the sisters when they find out about her secret. Something along those lines from my memory anyway.

If anyone has any info or knows where I can find these or has these and can make me a copy (if possible) please let me know you can e-mail me at:

Kind Regards,

Ellie.

PS. I hope they put She-ra and the movie on dvd, Rainbow Brite and the movie, and Strawberry Shortcake. Can you put the word in for me so it gets around?

haha, this thread came up again in a VERY original way, hope someone can help you there !!

I collect mainly memories from the 80's :)
Some things that have some value are

-Ritual EP : Very good oldschool US-metal style band from Belgium
-Asphalt single; I seem to be to only one who has this Belgian single ?
-Some rare Belgian 70's hardrock records : Irish coffee, Downtrip, Tush, Blue Rock, Isopoda, Genghis Khan
-a pile of nice underground European 80's magazines ...
-promosingles from Znöwhite (flexy) and Raven, promo album 220V (220V)
-some obscure hardrock/metal albums and samplers
-a few very nice old flyers, these have value for me becouse it are originals, but as they can be copied easy , not really valuable for sale I think....

That should be it !

:tickled: Funny I just posted pics of my room in the old school flyer thread then I happen upon this OLD old school thread! Was getting ready to wave to Miss A, then I see the date... :OMG: and oldie but a goodie thread! I'd have to say the greatest possesion I have from the 80's is this

That sounds interesting I hope someone will be able to help me with my request re these fairytales.

I'm also into collecting rare 80s songs from rare soundtracks and songs from movies where no soundtrack was ever released.

Perhaps, you or someone can help me re that I can send you my list of songs if you want.

You can e-mail me at: hoh28@hotmail.com

Thanks,
Ellie :)

Yes that's the one I'm referring to kitty but I don't know the title of it I wish I knew it and where it was available however, I do know it contains the fairytale The Little Match Girl, and this story about this well and some mean sisters in it.
I'm also looking for the fairytale (made in the 60s) called The Wolf And The Seven Kiddies the story about the little goats it was my fav as a kid and so cute I just wish I could find it not even IMDB has it it's so rare I have such wonderful fond memories of these shows just wish there was someone who can tell me where I may be able to find what I'm after.

Wow, some cool stuff listed here!

Here's a few I can think of right off the bat. I'd have to dig in my old memory boxes for more:

Queensryche - The Warning LP, autographed by all five members
Queensryche - Original EP (vinyl) on their own 206 Records label
Fates Warning - No Exit LP, autographed by everyone except John Arch:erk:
Autographed ticket stub from Ronnie Montrose
Original Fan Club documentation from Ratt and Meliah Rage
Autographs from Michael Schenker, Mitch Perry and Robin McCauley (partied backstage with the band!)
Original Demon - The Unexpected Guest LP on Carrerre Records

I love the first Meliah Rage album!

anyway,

I have Eric Carr's autograph on a Post-It note. I ran into him at a sporting goods store at the mall in June '86.

I also have an autographed pic of Lynch Mob from just a few years ago. It was a real thrill to meet Lynch.

bunch of guitar picks from various people...Lynch, Hades, Yngwie, Akira, Rick Neilsen. Not all were from shows though.

Powerslave pic disc

Some pretty rare albums/cds

Wish I had my vinyl here...

One of Nicko McBrain's drumsticks, which I caught in the 6th row, Brave New World Tour, Detroit. The friend I was visiting caught one a few songs later!

A pair of Jason Rullo's drumsticks, and a picture with him, from his drum clinic back in Aug '03. Not really 80's, but who cares. :dopey:

Most probably my Baron Rojo and Saxon vinyls. It took me a long time to foind them on CD format so I still kept the vinyls as backup.

My Italian copy of Black Sabbath debut, it's gatefold and have the inverted cross in the middle, besides it comes with 'Evil Woman' instead of 'Wicked
World'.

My CD copy of Rainbow - "Straight Betwen The Eyes" on Polydor. Was my first CD ever still plays and I don't care about remasters (if any) :D

My spikes, I got them back in the 80's when I started college, still got them, still wear them at concerts :headbang:

I don't have anything too major...
BUT, I do have - Slayer - Hell Awaits - Autographed by all except Jeff Hanneman. I also have pictures somewhere of me and all the guys taken during the South of Heaven tour.
Metallica - Jump In the Fire vinyl picture disc single
Metallica - Creeping Death vinyl picture disc single (Both on Music For Nations)
A Music for nations vinyl F**k Like a Beast
Autographed albums by:
D.R.I.
Kreator (Pleasure To Kill)

...a few other odds and ends. I got rid of a lot of stuff though. I don't believe much in collecting, and would never ask for an autograph now. In fact, I met Metallica last year (scored a backstage pass) and I didn't take anything to autograph. Each member commented on that, like, "Dude, didn't you bring anything?" I was actually kind of emberrased. Anyway, they signed my backstage pass, even though I didn't ask.
