since most of us who go to forums are collectors or completist. What would you say is the rarest or hardest to get items that you have in your collection.

This can be debatable....just because you have some demo of a band no one knows of...that is rare but not because it is highly sought after.

fire away....

I'm not necessarily the biggest collector. The two things I do have I think that would be considered would be Eddie's Archive, which you can find online, though pretty pricey and rarer, the Gamma Ray Ultimate Collection, which I noticed you can't even find on Ebay and Amazon anymore.

Love this thread already!!!
A couple years ago my list would have been three times as long but lots of my rarities have been sold.

DEMO:
LACERATION - THE WAY OF ALL FLESH (pre-Novembers Doom)

NOVEMBERS DOOM - NOVELLA REVERVOIR (pre-order edition with WAYFARING CHRONICLES book, autographed pic, sticker, all housed in black velvet bag)

Forgot about these. I have these as well. I'm actually shocked that Motorhead set hasn't been reissued. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would go out of print. The Iced Earth one I'm not surprised though as there have been box sets since.

Well, the Motorhead was on SANCTUARY.
I am pretty sure they have been bought out once or twice.
I can never keep up with what label has the rights to the Motorhead back catalog as it changes daily.

What I REALLY regret is not purchasing the VENOM boxset released by SANCTUARY around the same time.
TOWER Records had that when they were going out of business.
Just one of those things where I was like, "Eh, it will be here for a while" then of course it wasn't.

I know ICED EARTH has reissued everything a zillion times.
Though, I think that the DARK GENESIS box is the only place to get ENTER THE REALM, right?
Or was that reissued too?

Nope. For some bizzarre reason when they remastered/reissued their discs the last time they paired ENTER THE REALM with the covers album. Nice,
I had the promo version of this that is actually pretty limited.
(IE - it's part of the original 1000, but instead of a number it had a line)

Thanks to eBay, it became to expensive to just sit on my shelf.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE their version of SHOOTING STAR.

Radakka-Masquerade demo

HAHAHAHA,
You and every metal chick in my high school.
I always wrote them off as a hair band, and that's because of the fans they had back in the day.

I saw them in the 90s at some big poser metal New YEars Eve show at the Gateway when I was in HS. Good times.

Lots of bad music (IE - Wee B Toyz, Sphinx, etc, etc)

Eh, I don't have a lot of rarities... This is probably the most, though:

Black Sabbath - Headless Cross [Vinyl; Unopened]
Hour of 13 - S/T [original SKR run]
Black Sabbath - Cross Purposes Live [CD/VHS combo pack in the box]

Again, nothing too spectacular, but eh.

CDS:
Diamond Plate - Mountains of Madness Demo and Relativity EP (THeir only 2 good pieces of work and they are already selling for crazy amounts)
Gamma Ray - Ultiate Collection Box Set
Metallica - Kill 'Em All (Orginal Megaforce CD Press, ive seen it fetch between $250 and $500 on ebay when it shows up twice a year. Picked it up for only $10 at an FYE)

I probably have a ton more but i dont feel like thinking about 2500+ cds right now

LPs:
Vektor - Black Future DLP (Green vinyl with slipmat, #030/200. The black vinyl version limited to 300 has appeared twice on ebay and sold for $150, who knows what this will go for)

I also have a few King Diamond and Mercyful Fate bootlegs that will fetch a pretty penny. A few Led Zeppelin boots.

I have a bunch of vinyl that could fetch some pretty fair prices

I think for me would be (and I know some of these may not be considered collectibles necessarily, but oh well):

Viper - Theater of Fate (vinyl, original pressing)
Angra - Reaching Horizons Demo Tape (not the fake pressed CD version)
Rhapsody - Eternal Glory (Demo Tape)
