Compare Children of Boredom, sorry, Bodom to, say, Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Insision. Hear any similarities? Nope, didn't think so.

Compare Kalmah to, say, Decapitated, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse and Aborted. Hear any similarities? Nope, didn't think so.

Kalmah is the next representative of Melodic Death Metal with keyboard-support and harsh vocals.

Melodeath =/= Death Metal.

BTW, all Melodeath has harsh vox.

Children Of Bodom mix various elements like the complicated guitar-leads of melodic Death and fast rhythmic riffs of Power Metal.

IMO Children Of Bodom are actually a power metal band with non-power metal vocals (which is a good thing since I can't stand power metal vocals).

What's wrong with the Finnish death metal scene?

Well, Demilich is no more, Demigod gayed themselves up during their absence and Amorphis stopped playing death metal (and decent music, for that matter). Sentenced went to shit, and Funebre, Rottevore, and Xysma all broke up. I think that about covers it.

Cant say I care for any finnish bands other than amorphis.

I think I know what's wrong with it. There isn't any. The only thing I can think of that is worth something is Deepred. And Rotten Sound, but that ain't even death metal.
