I had to vote for norway because black metal is my favorite style of metal and many good norwegian black metal bands are on my list of best bands, but i'd say the entire world has it's perks, so i'd say I just like that metal is coming from this world

best DM comes from canada and us(cannibal corpse, cattle decapitation, exhumed, hypocrisy, etc)

UK has maiden, priest, sabbath, and plenty of good bands

1) hypocrisy is swedish
2) cattle decap blows ass, and exhumed is good, but still a 'tribute' like band to Carcass (UK).
3) Israel has, I think, ONE bm band, that being Melechesh. And now they live in Holland.
4) Sweden and Finland both have a lot of melodeath, but also have a lot of black metal bands and innovative swedish death metal, ala entombed, grave, etc.

Just tho i'd only add the most "mainstream" ones that probably will be most known, since i can't know that kind of metal most of the people like here. And i didnt had the whole day adding bands, just few that came in mind. Please no flaming about it you know them ourself. I will be adding them.

It's tough to say, but I would have to go with US. Death metal is my favorite genre, and US has the best death metal IMO, along with some great thrash. But US is really lacking in black metal (which I also very much enjoy) and power metal (which I don't really listen to all that much of).
