What do you think of the forum server going down for so long ?

my, that's what i call entertainment. i can hardly wait to see how people feel about this issue.

oh well, the question could rather be how happy we are because it was online for so long. if i look back at the past years: if that's the only downtime for a long period again, i won't complain. what i just don't get is why it doesn't get announced properly.

It wasn't maintenance, it was sudden failure, the sweetest of all... one guy at the server location sat his fat ass on the keyboard. Too bad it didn't delete all the database

Maybe me too, i've not been removed and i don't remember how many posts i had before, but i think i had more

Apart from this i've noticed that the links in the emails (email notification) bring me to posts of 17/18 august in the threads, i realized this after reading posts of people dying for the heat in the nf thread and since there were like 15 more pages to view after that one
