what do you think of these lyrics?

I know this isnt a poetry board, but let me know what you think of these lyrics I wrote.


Rememberance in a song
metal cold from a winters night
the stillness in the air
before the blink of an eye


a rush of nostalgia from days of old
then a fleeting glimpse
but it wasnt you


covered in dust
a deep old memory
covered in autumn leaves
a decrepit forgotten love
beneath the ivy grown over stone
I fell that day, like the snow

The word is remembrance not rememberance and the word 'nostalgia' doesn't fit in well in that context.

Other than that, it sounds somewhat pseudoangsty in the vein of Agalloch or Opeth though I think they execute it better.

Esoteric 'I'm sooo Goth' ramblings. Try to write something with a clear point if you want the lyrics to be judged separately. However, some of my favorite songs have some pretty shitty lyrics.
