What drum reverbs do you use?

I had no idea that so many use DVerb. I use it for printed reverb stuff all of the time but I've never actually put it on an aux. Gonna try this.

I use the Bricasti impulses a lot but am finding that they have a strange detuning sound at the end when compressed hard on track or mastering. Isn't there a high quality version that was done after that first set? That's what I've got is the old set. Definitely gonna check out the valhalla plugin, their shimmer is my secret weapon.

LexRoom

other verbs tend to have this abstract feeling, they create space but it sounds unfamiliar to my ears

insert LexRoom and i'm able to get something that sounds natural and convincing to my ears

oh, and slate's room samples too

reverbs have come a ridiculously long way in the last year.

the valhalla stuff is top top quality, exponential audio make some incredible plugins (R2 and pheonix), NI have just released their 480L and 224 emulations and theres also the relab LX480. and obviously the lex plugs which are great.

its the first time hardware is really getting a good run for its money now.
