So they were supposed to be on season 3, did that happen or not?
I don't see anything saying they actually were.

Yup Erik is correct, there is some episodes left. I've seen all of the ones thus far, just to check if I recognized any voice actors, but nothing yet. But he (Brendon Small) said they did voice acting so I guess it's coming in the episodes we haven't seen.

So far, the musician count is up to...

Ace Frehley, Arve Isdal, Brann Dailor, Brent Hinds, Dave Grohl, Grutle Kjellson, Herbrand Larsen, Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, Matt Pike, Scott Ian, Slash, Steve Vai, and Troy Sanders.

Euhm I just checked IMDB, and it seems all episodes have aired for this season :S Last episode aired October 24th, that was more than 3 weeks ago. That's weird.

Now that you mention it, you're right. The DVD is already out as well, actually. Who knows what happened with In Flames then.

Yup, and I'm 100% sure they wasn't featured in any episode of this season..I would recognize the voice(s). Maybe they shot for season 4, who knows..but he (Brendon Small) said they were for this season (3)..Weird indeed.

And Brendon says he can't say anything about Season 4 *yet*. Apparently, he is doing a hard rock band with the working name of "The Brendon Small Project" with Gene Hoglan and the rest of the guys.

Lol maybe it will sound like the music off of Home Movies. I've been a Brendon Small fan for probably since I've first seen Home Movies.

That's lame though that they weren't used, but like you said hopefully it's for season 4. If he recorded them and isn't using them that's kind of a low blow.

FYI, the interviewer mistranscribed the band name - it should've been Enslaved. In Flames wasn't recorded.

OMG fucking cun't, how can you even mistranscribe something that much (talking about the interviewer)? Well that explains it then..fucking hyped for nothing, and it's also logical seeing as there never were official news or anything posted that they were on Metalocalypse anyways.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news like that. I got really excited when I read the article, but confirmed with Brendon that it was a typo. I did comment a correction but I guess the info never got updated.

Nah it's good, instead of us waiting for season 4 hoping for In Flames lol.

Well that's gay. Whoever miss transcribed the band list is a fucking tool.
