What is the first CD you ever bought...

Don't forget to state if you still own/listen to it!

Yes I still own that K's Choice album but I don't really listen to it anymore.

My first tape was The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) single. And my first LP was a Black Circle album I thought I was getting a CD version of and bought accidentally.

Metallica Master Of Puppets and Black album. THat was my eight grade year. Which wouldve been 95-96. Yeah thats where I started and then bought Helloween Keeper 1 and 2, Iced Earth SOmething Wicked, and In Flames Colony. I remember that like it was yesterday. Whats funny is I still own the Helloween, IE, and Inflames, but got rid of the metallica many moons ago. Many moons.

"Absolute Music 13", a really shitty compilation album, was probably the first CD I bought, back in 1993. I still have it somewhere, but never listen to it.

I bought Offspring's "Smash" about a year later. I still listen to it now and then, because it's an excellent release.

I probably bought some Soft Rock album, but my first metal album probably was (excluding nu-metal) Opeth - Deliverance, or something like that.

First CD? No clue, we're talking late 80's so maybe 7th Son or Gutter Ballet? Still got 'em.

First record I ever bought:

'Twas a 7" single. 1978 if I remember. And no, I don't think I have it anymore.

The first CD I remember buying myself was Ride The Lightning I THINK. It might have also been Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape (awesome album)

The first CD I ever received (as a gift) was a recording of Beethoven's 5th Symphony and "Emperor" Concerto.

Don't remember if I bought it, or it was bought for me, but the first CD I ever owned was by a little-known band called The The, can't recall the name of the album, and no, I don't have it anymore.
