Does anyone know what is up with the NIGHTWISH/SONATA state-side tour?
When the tour was first announced, NIGHTWISH had a list of dates on their website which pretty much confirmed what was being reported all over the net. Sonata's website didn't have anything.
Now it seems a "switch" has been made. NIGHTWISH's website (http://www.nightwish.com/english/) lists only one US date -- 4/23 at the Palladium in Worcester. SONATA's website (http://www.sonataarctica.info/index.php?tour&en) however lists no less than 14 US dates, nearly every one says they are in support of NIGHTWISH.
What really concerns me (and this is probably hardly of general interest) is that there is no longer a Minnesota date listed on either website. Blabbermouth originally reported that the US tour would start in Minneapolis which is extremely close to me.
Is the tour falling apart or being reconsidered or what? Quite frankly I'll be a lot less concerned if SONATA winds up on the PP6 bill, but it appears we have a while to wait for that little tidbit of info.
