The Dream Cycle is incredible...anyone who thinks that Locecraft's prose was lacking needs to read it, the imagery in it is incredibly vivid and surreal.

My favorite poem is probably "The Hollow Men" by T.S. Eliot, but you probably have to read Conrad's "Heart Of Darkness" to fully understand it. I also like the short little sonnet by John Keats called "When I Have Fears That I May Cease To Be." Neat stuff.

I want to read Dante's Inferno one of these days too.
