Good taste Raptured...always loved Bloodrock...have all of their CD's thanks to the now defunct One Way Records...Bloodrock 2 was like a sound track to our childhood...I love all of their stuff especially the first 4 studio albums with Rutledge & Pickens...they went in a more proggy direction on Passages & Whirling Tongues but they were still cool and worth picking up.
Check out the cool cover version of Children's Heritage done by Tesla who list Bloodrock as one of their inspirations.
Thanks RK......Bloodrock 2 is definately a wonderful album. I still can't believe that I never heard of these guys before. In my opinion, they are right up there with Uriah Heep and Grand Funk. They even slightly sound like a mixture of both with a touch of Jethro Tull, every now and then.
Great musicianship and singing, too. You definately know the good stuff, my friend.
