My 2 cents: it's the same lineup as New Era (longtime singer & guitarist + the other 3 recent members). The production's more polished. Keyboard-heavy melodies & shredding unison runs/solo tradeoffs similar to Pagan's Mind. The singer's occasionally gruff (think later Russell Allen) but mostly stays melodic- less of the growls New Era flirted with (only a little in the background at the end of track 2, IIRC). Epic 10+ minute title track. Memorable power/prog overall, although “For the Metal” sounds like Dream Evil. Great album IMO!
