For me, it`s got to be either "Alaska", or "Ghost of a Chance", by Shadow Gallery. I don`t know why, but they just hit a nerve in me or something.

There's only one song with that effect on me, but only finnish ppl know the song...

It's called "niin kaunis on maa", and the reason, why it makes me cry, is that we sang that one at our classmates funeral, who was killed by her ex-bf

That was the last time, when I was able to sing it, now I can't even listen to it without crying...

through her eyes-dream theater. the version with a sax solo by the guy in porno for pyros

i was crying because i thought it was likely had genital herpes.
but i didn't...lets give it up for me!
in the end it was all because of a fabric softener...my clothes were making me itch. i was pretty scared!

Blind Guardian's "The Maiden and the Minstrel Knight," DT's "Finally Free,"
and OF COURSE... THE EDGE OF FOREVER... I don't actually cry when I hear them, but emotion does flow through me when I hear these.

Oh, and of course, Cannibal Corpse's "Sanded Faceless" :tickled:

Gary Jules - Mad World
Iron Maiden - The Clansman
Pain Of Salvation - Undertow
Pain Of Salvation - Second Love (when I heard this life, I was really in awe of Daniel expressing such true feelings on stage, he was like almost crying himself)

and more but I can't think of them at this moment, they don't actually make me cry but definetely touch me.

Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" still makes me a little tight around the collar. I'm not sure why, but it's really only when I'm singing it, not just listening to it. I guess it must be the combo of the music and the lyrics (that seem sad on a deep level) that makes me feel like that.

Another song that kind of gets me is from Fear Factory on the Obsolete album. It's that last track "Timelessness". It's such a haunting melody and the lyrics are so somber, it's awesome!

I love dark, sad, depressing themes in music. Don't know why, always have!

Jeez, I didn't we so many pussies here. j/k. I don't cry at all to music but some music makes me feel LIKE Crying. I recently got Opeths Blackwater Park and songs like Harvest, The Drapery Falls and Patterns in the Ivy are very beautiful.

I'd say that the songs that get me are "good bye blue sky" by Pink Floyd, "Downstream" by Supertramp, and "In My Time of Need" by opeth. great songs, but sad.

I agree with Metal Chick on the end of the Odyssey, the whole Ithaca parts, beginning and end (but especially the end when he finally gets home) move me almost to tears though not quite, especially when i am sitting there absorbing the lyrics.

Other songs? hmm let me think if there is any that choke me up..I can't think of any right now, but i'm sure theres others that have over the years.

Also dunno bout crying, but Creed's 'What If' makes me feel like i have morning sickness.. in the early stages of my pregnancy with my son, I was into Creed's Human Clay album, now I can't even listen to that song without wanting to puke quite literally.
