Those two Thergothon mp3s just did not pull me in at all. Disembowelment,Evoken on the other hand are moving and crushing. You can Evoken are influenced by Disembowelment. Both bands are collosal.

Evoken is VERY VERY influenced by diSEMBOWELMENT, but I think Evoken actually accomplished more on "Embrace the Emptiness", although their music isn't quite as unique as diS was. Thergothon is one of THE best bands ever, and "Stream from the Heavens" is absofuckinlutely mandatory listening. CRUSHES both diS and Evoken easily as shit. The only band that possibly tops them is Skepticism.

I'll have to check out 'stream from the heavens and Skepticism. What's a good Skepticism fullength to start with ?

"Stormcrowfleet" is their best, but all of them are excellent. My second favourite is "Aes", a 27-minute, 1-song MCD.
