What was the last band you "got into"?

Zero Hour

I'm listening to "Tower of Avarice" now... holy shit. Extemely technical guitar playing. They sound a bit like Fates Warning. Good stuff.

I like After Forever! The Dutch band, not a hard-core one

SHE LIVES ON FUCKING MOUNT OLYMPUS!!!!

But in all seriousness, i've seen some pics where she is absolutely beautiful, and i love her voice. She's amazing. Not litterally a goddes, but underrated and amazing.

The last band I really got into was Pineapple Thief. Not melodic/prog/power metal by any stretch of the imagination, but a band who make music that Radiohead might have made had Thom Yorke met Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree just after the recording of OK Computer.

What is the name of the After Forever song with a sitar? I want to hear it?
My guess is you're thinking of My Pledge Of Allegiance 1, from the Decipher album.

And Floor Janssen is a very impressive frontlady, IMO fast approaching divinity if she hasn't already attained it! :)

HAGGARD! Awesome band! I've only heard three full songs and they're already one of my favourite bands. I reckon once i get one of their albums they will probably be my favourite band.
The songs i've heard are "Origin of a Crystal Soul", "In A Full Moon Procession", and "Cantus Firmus In A-Minor".

I thought i should let people who haven't heard of Haggard know who they are. Haggard is a pretty big band, the biggest i've heard of. They have upwards of 17 members. This is because they are a classic/metal band. They have two guitarists, a drummer, bassist, and growls, but they also have an orgy of classical insturments including violins, flute, clarinets, double bass, cello, and opera vocals. And more, i'm sure. Their website is www.haggard.de and you can download 45 second sound clips of pretty much every song i think. There's also a short clip from a live performance.

Actually i wonder if any of you can help me out with identifying one of the insturments. It's mainly wooden i think (or at least this guys is) and it has a thin, curvy metal thing sticking out of the side of it, which is the mouthpiece. It reminds me of a bong actually lol! :D
I thought i had the name of it before, but now i can't remember. Is it a bugal or something?
