What was the last CD you bought, and what do you think about it?

I just got Vansinnesvisor, the newest CD from Thyrfing, yesterday in the mail. I'm really impressed. I didn't expect it to be as powerful as it is. My only problem with it is that it's too damn short! (43 minutes)

I just got Nightwish- Century Child, the new DoF (Dreidle of Filth), the new Anthrax, Amorphis - am universum, and The Best of Queensryche...here are my respective thoughts:
OK, Dissapointing, Pretty Good, Pathetic, and Pissed (Because it skips!) So overall, not a very good haul.

How's the sound of the new Anthrax?

The last one I picked up is Cryptopsy's ''None So Vile'', it fuckin' rocks. One of the best death metal releases i've heard these days.

these are my latest acquirements: (did I write that correctly..?)

SX - DWOT
SX - TiO
SX - V
SX - LOTEOF

They all rock

in the past 3 days i have purchased:
Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness (haven't listened to it yet)
Therion - Vovin (haven't listened)
Therion - Crowning of Atlantis (haven't listened)
Finntroll - Jaktens Tid (awesome!)
Old Man's Child - Ill-Natured Spiritual Invasion (it's pretty killer!!!)
Testament - Best of (i don't like best of cds... don't flow very well... should have bought an album)

I bought Spastic Ink, Ink Complete... I'm not too into the whole instrumental thing without vox but I am DAMN IMPRESSED with the guitar and(the whole bands work) on that album.

I got Nevermore-Enemies of Reality. That album is freakin heavy, I like it.

I also got Kotipelto-Waiting for the Dawn, but I haven't heard it yet.

Oh yeah I also got Vitalij Kuprij- High Definition. Again I have yet to play it.

was given queensryche - tribe... havent listened to it yet, but hubby previewed it before he bought it for me and said he liked what he heard.
the last cd i bought was iced earth - alive in athens, and its stuck in the stereo, along with v... damn shame i have to listen to those cd's over and over and over again, lol :)

my last cd's have been two weather repor cd's. Seeing that jazz/fusion has been capturing my soul latley, i decided to listen to the masters. i got a compilation disk called the jacko years and heavy weather. Both are kinda wierd, but still really cool and jazzy. Jacko is probably the best bassists i've ever heard and the keyboardist and saxist are amazing too. Its amazing how much fusion has changed over the years.

Mine was Gamma Ray's Skeletons In The Closet. It's a great live album, 'cause there are a lot of songs, which they haven't played live before.
