What Would Their Powers Be?

By now, ya'll may know I'm a comic book junkie and I've been drawing Jeff a whole bunch. But he doesn't seem to sit right with Ian Notthingham, Darkness, or Witchblade.

So. What superpowers do you think would suit our lovely Nevermore boys? Warrel, what power would you want?

Hopefully, I'll have some time during the summer to draw up some covers with the band and their new powers.

i could see warrels powers being his incredibly power voice. he'd be able to shriek while shooting "the orb" and buildings would crumble

van would have powers over gravity and seismic activity, and be able to make earthquakes capable of swallowing cars

jeffs power would be speed. his hands are so fast that he'd be able to deflect bullets, and or poke your eyes out

jims power would be much like an armadillo, except he'd be covered in pancakes. steel pancakes. he'd be able to roll in a ball. he couldnt do anything with that power, but it would look cool

and steve would definately be the leader. I see him as a ninja / having the ability to grow his soul patch + goatee to unordinary lengths to apprehend criminals, and to swing from it, ala grappling hook.

Awesome ideas! Especially love Warrle's orb throwing/shrieking and Steve's hair growth.

Dan - I'll definitely post what I get started here. Maybe some character sketches for lolz.

Just as an incentive for creativity, they'll be fighting their archnemisis, The Heart Collector. I've drawn him up a loong time ago, maybe post him soon enough.

Warrel would be able to produce the brown noise with his voice at over 800 decibels, simultaniously shattering everything within miles and making everyone shit their pants.

Jeff would be able to go so fast that he'd exceed the speed of light and travel back in time, but he wouldn't because he could seriously screw things up if he did.

Jim would definatly have the ability to erect his nipples to any length on command, and they'd be harder than steel.

Van would definatly be the kilted ninja, able to both vanquish any foe and woo any maiden with his 4 foot penis.

Steve would have hair-tentacles. I... don't really know where I'm going with this one.

I love it. Someone would try to pitch this idea to Image or DC comics and they'd poo themselves with laughter.

That's usually the black guy. Which Van kinda is, right? So he'd be the modern Green Lantern.

The way I see, it, they're a band, not a bunch of soloists, so it'd have to be more like a team effort than a collection of disjointed superpowers: Neverquintuplet Powers -- ACTIVATE!!!

It would be like a GOTH/METAL version of Josie and the Pussycats. Always getting to the gig at the last second to save the day and put on the great show.

Then later the spin off NEVERMORE in OUTERSPACE.

Maybe Van or Steve could be the Silent Bob character and only dish out wisdom at the appropriate moment.

I do think though that Jeff and Steve should be able to combine thier powers and work as a team. " Twin Guitarmonies ACTIVATE! "

Jeff would have Medusa like powers, able to make his hair come alive and fight for him.

Van would be possessor of the "Kilt Of Mystery." No one knows what lies under that kilt, but they know it's big and bad.

Jim would be able to create pancakes with just a thought and use them as weapons (Discus, shields, etc.)

Steve would have the same powers as Jeff, but with his gotee.

Warrell of course would have the power of the super falsetto, able to make dogs within a 5 mile radius turn inside out.
