whats a song wit a really good alexi solo

Well, it doesn't mean, that if a solo is hard, then its good. For example, Sixpounder, kind of simple, but very cool. But I don't think any of the solos Alexi has done are easy. And the goal shouldn't be to make as hard solos as possible.. at least this is my opinion.

As much as nowadays he's an egotistical faggot.. He owns laiho everywhich way but sunday.
i honestly dont find hermans solos all that much harder to play than alexi's...playing dragonforce songs in full is a different story..but alexis solos (old ones) are structured so much better than hermans 5 minute wankery on every dragonforce song. I also think hes better off not using that whammy pedal when playing fast runs...it sounds rediculous. Dragonforce is still great tho :headbang:

Herman is a good player but Alexi has some structure to his solos not alot but some best solo is Kissing the Shadows and Midnight madness Mask of sanity is also quite good.

People talk about melody and structure in Alexi's solos, and then go and mention Kissing the Shadows...that's like the most wankiest one he's done, considering it was just bashed out in a few minutes.
Stuff like Hate Me and Everytime I Die are more interesting.

Sixpounder is also a good example, of how you can make an awesome solo, with just a simple structure.

I find this question rather stupid, as most of the older songs have 'alexi' solo's. They're all good solo's, imo. With exeptions, probably, but I can't be arsed to check them all out.

I have to agree with Gavin on Midnight Madness. That solo pwns. Beware the Heavens has a killer solo as well.

If your friend doesn't like anything off Hatebreeder or FtR well then it's a lost cause. Also try to find Touch Like Angel of Death the Tokyo Warhearts version. That has some excellent playing in it.
