What's the last cd that you bought?

I'm gonna be murdered now... last album I bought was New Found Glory's Album - but it was a birthday present for Ali, one of the other rock DJs I work with on my radio station, Kic FM. However, last album I bought before that was The Vandals - Hitler Bad, Vandals Good.
So what, I like punk as well! I'm going to get Sum 41's albums soon...

*awaits the violent backlash*

NP - New Found Glory - Dressed To Kill (I MP3 ripped the album before I gave it to Ali) :)

Zero Hour - "The Towers of Avarice"
I had to listen to the whole album before I really started to appreciate it; it is an awesome album. I was going to buy the new Therion "Secret of the Runes", but it hasn't been released in the US yet.

<rant>Why can't everyone follow Iced Earth's example and release the CD in the US and Europe at the same time, with the same tracks? I'm sick of not getting the extra tracks and/or having to wait for a month or more just because of where I live.</rant>

Before I bought Towers, I made a large order from Century Media for Lacuna Coil, After Forever, The 3rd and the Mortal, Lefay, and Morgana Lefay to fill some holes in my collection.

bought?? hmmmmm

Also, last week I got the following beautiful presents:
Solefald-Neonism
Cadaver Inc.-Discipline
Lacrimosa-Fassade

I have a question for you guys. Century Media sent me their 2001 Fall Catalog, and I am trying to shop for albums that I think will get a lot of playtime. Here's what I have decided, but before I go ahead and put in the order, I want to hear what you think.

Tiamat: Wildhoney/Gaia (Both albums reissued and put onto one CD.)

Children of Bodom: Follow The Reaper

Enslaved: Mardraum

Into The Woods: Omnio

Vintersborg: Cosmic Genesis

Any in the woods is good. I dont particularly like that Children of Bodom record. Hatebreeder is the best one. The new one bores me. It's really happy and I the vocals. Mardraum is a great record. Kinda different than the rest of their stuff but still very very good. That vintersorg held my interest for about a week but I never listen to it any more. It's ok.

Stuff I recently acquired.
Emperor: Prometheus (best album of the year and second only to Anthems)
New moonspell.
New solefald
new borknagar
my dying bride the dreadful hours
destruction The antichrist
death :live and raw.
finntroll Jakkens tid
some other stuff.

The last three i got were

Emperor - Prometheus (Pretty good - not listened to it much tho)

Opeth - My Arms....with bonus tracks (Marvellous!! Of course!!)

and

Bal Sagoth - Atlantis Acendant (Well over the top - i love it!)

well with ex-members from Brutal bunnies, know your knomes, cuddles the bear and guest vocals from Tinky Winky and Po, not to mention the gay robots from star wars and snoop dogg. its set up to be a killer follow up to the highly acclaimed debut 'im gonna get a garden knome and stick it up your arse, whilst watching little elves''.

First Strick is a FUCKING good cd. The re-recordings are GREAT. Steve G is on bass. Great stuff. The old songs have been done JUSTICE!

Before God is a must have. Its Nordic semi black Metal. Great guitars and drums.
