I know most people here don't care about Evergrey... and those that do hate this album... but I think it's a fantastic work and it will be hard for anything to beat this as my album of the year. "I Should" is their most emotionally devastating track to date.

What are these guys like? I've heard pretty conflicting reports, but I'm interested.

I found "Und die Nacht kam schweren Schrittes" somehow generic and not too enthralling on the whole. Think Satyr's Wongraven with heavier synths and long ambient drones. I've read good reports about Vinterriket's black metal incarnation though.
